"Hello Laser, Goodbye Razor!" TM
CO2 Ultra-Pulse Laser
The carbon dioxide laser is the most effective for deeper lines, wrinkles, and acne scars. It also removes the outer layers of skin one layer at a time, so resurfacing is achieved and the complexion is lighter, smoother and rejuvenated.
This procedure is usually done under local or general anesthetic in our ambulatory surgery center. Dressings or ointment are applied for several days during the healing process. Termed the laser resurfacing lift, the ultra-pulse laser is one of our most effective lasers for face rejuvenation.
Erbium Laser
The Erbium laser can also stimulate collagen to form under wrinkles and acne scars, improving the appearance of both. This laser also removes part of the outer layer of skin – layer by layer, thus causing smoothing of the surface blemishes as well. Mild anesthetic may be used, and ointment dressings are used afterward to encourage healing and prevent infection.
Age spots and keratoses on the face or trunk can be treated by literally being vaporized away, leaving a smoother surface behind! Twenty-five to fifty of these spots can be easily treated at one time.
Apogee Laser – For Wrinkles
Certain lasers that can be used on wrinkles, provide a breakdown followed by a rejuvenation of the collagen in the dermis of the skin. These techniques allow for no post treatment downtime. These techniques are not as intense as the CO2 Ultrapulse laser or the Erbium laser treatments, which are used on the more severe cases of wrinkling. The nonabalative laser treatments do, however, soften the signs of aging, and promote smooth and healthier looking skin. This treatment program provides you with a fresh young layer of your own natural collagen. Best of all, you can resume your regular activities immediately.
