You don’t have to live with wrinkles.
Laser Facial Resurfacing can help
your wrinkles and blemishes lighten up.
Everyone would like to keep the soft, perfectly unblemished skin of a baby all the way through life. Unfortunately, gravity, environmental factors, sun, emotional stress, and physical damage all play a role in the condition of our skin. Unsightly birthmarks, scars and signs of aging effect how people feel about themselves and how others feel about them. Treatment such as dermabrasion, surgery, and chemical peels offer some hope for patients wishing to restore their skin. These conditions can now be treated with lasers that can be more safe and effective when performed by skilled physicians. Laser resurfacing now offers a safe and more effective method to remove surface imperfections, reduce lines and wrinkles resulting in a more youthful appearance of the skin. Lasers remove sun-damaged, aging skin, layer-by-layer helping to stimulate the regeneration of new collagen and healthier skin.

Lasers are intense beams of light that, unlike ultraviolet light and x-rays, are effective therapies. In fact, some laser treatments are considered safe for two-week-old infants! Today’s laser surgery technology, by varying the laser’s intensity and color, can accurately target very specific skin problems, leaving smoother, healthier looking skin.
All surgical procedures carry the possibility of risk and uncertainty. Side effects and possible risks of laser skin resurfacing include, infection, swelling, scarring, sun sensitivity, pink/red skin, breakout of fever blisters or cold sores, yeast or bacterial infections of the skin, pigment darkening or bordering, and lightening of the skin. It is important to discuss your medical history during your initial consultation. A thorough discussion with your physician of risks and benefits as well as your expectations will be completed prior to your surgery. General health conditions such as smoking, high blood pressure, heart trouble, certain medications, diabetes, and other illnesses, can affect the results. Be sure to bring up all of your questions during your consultation. In addition, close attention to follow-up instructions for skincare will help maximize your results.
