Michelle Roth grew up in Neponset, IL attended Neponset High School in which she participated in basketball, plays, student government. She was a member of the National Honor Society and an Illinois State Scholar. Michelle attended Augustana College in Rock Island, IL, she was a member of the biology club and was a member of the yearbook staff. She graduated in 2002 with a BA majoring in Bio/Pre-Med and a minor in Psychology. She then attended OSF Saint Francis School of Clinical Laboratory Science completed the program with a certification in Clinical Laboratory Science, (CLS) in the summer of 2003. She worked at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center Laboratory in blood bank, hematology, and coagulation. In Summer 2005 Michelle began the Physician Assistant program at Des Moines University. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She graduated in August 2007 with a Master degree of Physician Assistant Studies.
